Our IT staff will gladly work with your IT department to make the process completely hassle free, or if you prefer we can provide you with detailed instructions that you can pass on to them. With our hosted solution no IT infrastructure is required on your part. Do you have any other clients my size or in my industry? In most cases, we maintain a confidential client list because we value our relationships with them. Our direct clients include several Fortune 500 companies that range from financial services, insurance, retail to technology. How is the ASP pricing determined? Pricing is based on log volume, page views and file size. The payment schedule and terms, contract term, additional services (like custom reporting, analysis and interpretation or project based reporting) are based on your needs. To deliver an accurate quote, we would need to take a look at a snapshot of the log files for your website. Who owns the data at the end of the contract? You will have access for 3 days after the last day of the contract period to view reports. All of the logs that we have will be zipped and sent to you upon your request. We keep a rolling 13 month reporting period open during your agreement. We will also maintain an archive of at least six (6) months of raw log files. If you have special needs let us know and we can accommodate them. What is the set-up time once I give the go ahead? Typically, within 72 hours of receiving logs we can have your reports on a regular update schedule. What is the capacity of an ASP? The capacity is in no way limited by an ASP installation. Our systems can scale to meet any clients demands. How is data transfer handled? Is the process secure? We provide secure file transfers via ftp using a 128Bit encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. We protect your business critical and sensitive data with the highest commercially available data encryption level. The only requirement for this level of security is the use of an SSL enabled ftp client (such as WS_FPT). What type of hardware is used to host and process the data? This question usually pertains to large installations only) The number of servers, storage requirements, processor speed, database configuration, server dedication, network configuration, database access, fault tolerance and capacity are all determined based on your needs. As we assess the site structure, log components and reporting needs, we will design a configuration that is tuned for optimal processing speed and scalability. How often is the information updated? We process the data overnight. If there are other needs, such as different time zones or mid day updates, those can be built in. What sort of back up system is used for storage and disaster recovery? We utilize an effective combination of hardware and software technologies to provide maximum efficiency for data recovery in the event of disaster. Our hardware includes the use of RAID technology that allows for single hard drive failure without any loss of data or uptime. In the unlikely event of multiple drive failure, we additionally have a backup solution that records all data across the entire enterprise weekly. Our backup solution is comprised of a DDS robotic tape library and Veritas Enterprise backup software. In an effort to provide the most comprehensive data backup we also make use of Veritas' SQL and Network Agents. This allows us to expand protection to critical applications without taking the systems offline. Where will my data be housed? We offer two facilities choices depending on client needs. In most cases the data will be in our secure data center. We also offer a Tier 3 data center for clients who need the highest level of security and redundancy in the industry. Do you offer a service level guarantee? We offer a standard 95% uptime SLA for all clients. For customers using our Tier 3 datacenter, there is a 99.999 % uptime guarantee available. We have never had a system failure or power loss in any of our facilities. When is technical support available if the system goes down? We offer a 24/7 technical support hotline for all ASP clients. I've heard that there are differences between log file analysis and page tagging. How do I know which is best for my situation? For additional information related to this topic please refer to the section of our site that describes some of the key differences between the two technologies. We have the ability to provide either one and can consult you on your unique reporting requirements to help pick the solution that's best for you. |
